KSOU Admissions 2026
KSOU Admission is open for 70 ODL courses in the July academic session, including 10 UG, 32 PG, 13 PG Certificate, 9 Diploma, and 6 UG Certificate courses. The last date of KSOU Admission 2026 is 15 September 2026 for all courses. Applicants have to create their ABC ID through a DigiLocker account and their DEB ID through the DEB portal before applying for any course admission at KSOU. Students can register either online or through the respective regional centres. Admission is only through online mode with payment of the registration fee, which is INR 550/-. Selection of the applicant will be based on their educational qualification, which requires a 10+2 pass and a bachelor’s degree.
Physical verification of the document will be done in the regional centre, and admission will be confirmed only after receiving approval from the university. KSOU UG Admission 2026
KSOU admission window is open for 10 UG courses like BA, BCOM, BSC, BCA, BSW, etc for the July academic year 2026. 15 September 2026 is the deadline to apply for UG course admission at KSOU. These courses are offered in open and distance learning mode over 3 years and 6 semesters. Non-CBCS courses like BA and BCOM will be available in annual mode, while the rest of the courses will be offered in semester mode. English and Kannada will be the main medium of instruction.
To become eligible for admission, students must have passed their 12th standard examination in any stream from a reputed board. Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has started pre-registration for BEd admission 2026 in the July session. The application form has invited online at the official web portal @ksouportal.com for all eligible candidates. The last date of KSOU BEd admission 2026 is 15 September 2026. The applicants can apply online after completing their bachelor’s degree from any recognised University. The applicants are required to complete NCTE-recognised teacher education in face-to-face mode. KSOU accepts applications for 500 seats for the BEd program as per the government norms.
KSOU PG Admission 2026
Karnataka State Open University admission is now ongoing for 31 PG programs in the July academic session. KSOU is accepting forms for several programs, such as MBA, MCA, MSW, MSC, MCOM, MA, etc, through the ksouportal.com portal. The last date of KSOU PG admission 2026 is 15 September 2026. PG programs are available for a course period of 2 years and 4 semesters, though students can complete their course within a maximum duration of 4 years. All the programs are offered in ODL mode with English and Kannada as the main medium.
Applicants who have a bachelor’s degree in a related field can apply to the desired course by filling out the application form online. The course fee will be around INR 11,660/- to INR 32,890/- for the first year. KSOU may conduct an entrance test for some courses depending on the course requirements. All PG programs are provided under choice based credit system, except for the MA Sanskrit program.
KSOU MA Admission 2026
Karnataka State Open University admission is open now for the MA program for the July 2026-27 academic session. The registration window has opened online at www.ksoumysuru.ac.in, with the last date of 15 September 2026. The applicants must submit their application online with a fee of INR 550. Admission to the KSOU MA course is conducted completely on a direct merit basis (previous qualifying examination marks). To apply, applicants need to acquire 10+2 grade certification or its equivalent from any recognised institution.
Eligibility Criteria for KSOU Admission 2026
Undergraduate degree course
- The basic admission eligibility required for admission to UG courses at KSOU is 10+2 education from a recognised school.
- Also, students from other boards who have completed their 10+2 or 11+1 or Higher Secondary Examination can also apply.
- Anyone with pre-university vocational courses in a relevant subject is also eligible.
- Must have proficiency in English and Kannada.
Postgraduate degree course
- Students who have passed their degree examination or equivalent from a recognised university can apply.
- For the MBA program, applicants will have to appear for the Knowledge Assessment Test conducted by the university.
- Students must show fluency in English and Kannada except for language courses.
- There is no upper age limit.
