About LNMU Distance Education
Lalit Narayan Mithila University offer 20+ Distance Learning Courses, including BA, BCom, BSc, LLB, MA, MSc, LLM, and many others. The University was established in 1972 as a public University. LNMU has more than 21 departments, in which it offers a wide range of UG and PG courses to more than 50,000 students. As per the NAAC ranking, LNMU has been awarded a B++ grade. This is a regular university, providing a full-time regular course. It does not offer distance learning courses.
LNMU Distance Education Admission 2026
Lalit Narayan Mithila University admission for various bachelor’s and master’s law courses is going to begin soon for the 2026 session. The applicants will be able to apply for BA, BCom, MA, MCom, BSc, MSc, BEd, and many more through the official website. LNMU Distance Education registration portal is likely to open on 18 March 2026 for all courses, and the deadline to fill out the applications is likely to be 30 May 2026. Additionally, for the BEd program, students must be eligible to appear in an entrance exam. The admission is offered in both online and offline modes. PG Admission: LNMU Distance Education offers various PG programs with specializations including Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Zoology, History, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, English, and Political Science. LNMU Distance Education UG Admission 2026
For the current session 2026-27, the university is offering BTech, BLISc, and BEd courses through the undergraduate program. Students can choose to take a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering and Bioinformatics. Those who pursue B.Tech programs can complete their course in 4 years.
Candidates who want a bachelor’s degree in any course have to pass out an intermediate exam with a minimum of 50% marks. BEd CET (Combined Entrance Test) is conducted each year and applicants have to clear cut off to get admission. Undergraduate program admission fee ranges from INR 10000 and lasts up to INR 38000.

LNMU Distance PG Admission 2026
The online registration form for Lalit Narayan Mithila University PG courses admission will be invited soon for the 2026 academic year. LNMU Distance PG Admission 2026 last date is expected to be 30 May 2026. Students who are willing to get admission can choose to study courses like MCom, MSc, MBA, and MA. Additionally, candidates can choose disciplines such as Psychology, Urdu, Botany, Home Science, Geography, and more. All PG programs last for a duration of 2 years, which is spread over 4 semesters. LNMU offers both semester-based and non-semester-based examination patterns.
