Kashmir University Distance Education: Admission to Kashmir University for the distance learning courses will commence soon for the July session 2026. Interested students can fill out the admission form and pay an application fee of INR 500/- to INR 1000/- online. Students can opt for 2-year PG courses like MA, MSc, MCom, B.Ed, including 1-year Diploma and 6-month certificate courses in ODL mode. The registration portal of Kashmir University distance education will remain open till 30th April 2026*.
To get admission, students must have basic eligibility criteria such as a 10+2 qualification for UG courses and a bachelor’s degree for PG courses. Selection of the applicants will be solely based on the Academic Merit of the qualifying examinations. The program fee will range around INR 3450/- to INR 15,000/- annually.
About University: Kashmir University started the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) in 1976. The centre provides various academic programs at PG, Diploma and certificate level, including a teacher training program in ODL mode. At present, the Centre is offering 22 programmes, including 8 P.G. programmes, 2 teacher training programmes, 11 Diploma programmes and 1 Certificate course in Kashmiri. Kashmir University Distance Education Admission 2026
Online application form of kashmir university for all the distance learning courses for the July session 2026. Students are advised to read the prospectus thoroughly and check the eligibility criteria before submitting the form. Kashmir University distance education offers PG, Diploma and Certificate courses with various disciplines in ODL mode. The PG application fee will range around INR 500/- to INR 1000/-, while diploma/certificate courses will be INR 550/-.
To become eligible students must have a +2 qualification for UG courses and a valid bachelor degree for PG courses. Selection will be strictly based on merits as the university does not conduct entrance exams for any program. Kashmir University Distance Education PG Courses Admission
Admission to Kashmir University distance learning courses will commence soon for the July session. The centre of distance and online education provides PG courses like MA, MSc, MCOM and B.Ed for the duration of 2 years with 4 semesters. All the programmes are approved by the UGC-DEB and are available in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
To be eligible, applicants need to complete their bachelor’s degree of 3 years in any related discipline and secure at least 40% mark from a recognised university. The course fee will range between INR 5376/- to INR 15,000/- per year. There will be no entrance exam, so selection will be solely merit based. The main medium will be either English or Urdu, depending on the course.
Kashmir University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for distance program at kashmir university must hold the following eligibility criteria to get admission:
- For PG Program: Successfully Complete a 3 year bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 40% mark from a recognized university.
- For B.Ed/DCA Program: 3 year graduation with 50% mark for general category and 45% for reserved category in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For Diploma Program: Graduate with 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 40% mark from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: There is no particular age bar for any program.

Step 2: Click on Link Admissions and read the instructions carefully.
Step 3: Click on the “Register as Student” and register with a valid email ID and phone number.
