MANUU Distance Education Admission: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will soon commence its admission process for the academic session 2026. Students can register online with the payment of an application fee of INR 300/- (non-refundable). MANUU Distance admission last date to apply for any UG/PG program is expected to be 30 May 2026*. The university offers various UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate programs recognised by the UGC-DEB.

MANUU Distance Education Admission 2026
Admission will begin soon at Maulana Azad National Urdu University for all the ODL programs. The entire admission process will be online, including the payment of the fees. Students have to register using their own valid email ID and phone number. At UG level, students can opt for BA (H), BCOM and BSc (H) programs for the duration of 4 years. At PG level, students can apply for MBA, B.Ed and BA with 6 specializations for 2 years.
The basic eligibility criteria is passing intermediate examination and holding a bachelor degree from a recognized board/university, respectively. MANUU distance education conducts entrance exams for MBA/B.Ed program only, as admission to all the other programmes is merit based. students have to pay a registration fee of INR 300/- and INR 1000/- for MBA/B.Ed program. Final admission will be done after verification of all the documents is completed by the university.

MANUU Distance Education UG Admission
Admission will begin soon at MANUU-CDOE for all the undergraduate courses in ODL mode for the academic session 2026. University offers programs like BA (H), BCOM and BSc (H) for the minimum duration of 4 years with 8 semesters. However, students can complete their UG courses within the maximum duration of 7 years. To become eligible, applicants need to pass in Intermediate (10+2) or Equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Also applicants who have studied Urdu as a subject or languages or as medium at school level or equivalent are also eligible for admission. Selection of the students will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination. The fee structure of MANUU Distance education for UG programs usually ranges between INR 3,300/- to INR 6,500/-, depending on the student’s category. There is no age bar and the only languages used for instruction will be Urdu, except for language courses.
MANUU Distance Education PG Admission
MANUU, centre of distance and online education provides admission to PG courses in open and distance learning (ODL) mode for the 2026 session. University offers B.Ed, MBA and MA programs in various disciplines like Urdu, Islamic Studies, English, history, Arabic and Hindi. These courses are offered for the minimum course period of 2 years with 4 semesters and maximum duration of 4 years with 8 semesters.
The eligibility criteria for PG admission is to have a 3 year bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% mark from a recognised university. MANUU distance education charges a program fee ranging around INR 4,500/- to INR 21,500/- as per category. Since the university does not require entrance exams for any program, hence selection will be purely merit based. However, students opting for the MBA/B.Ed program will have to qualify the entrance test conducted by the university, along with the payment of the registration fee of INR 1000/-.
Eligibility Criteria for MANUU Distance Education
Applicants applying for desired UG/PG programs need to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the MANUU-CDOE for all the ODL programs. The basic educational qualification to be fulfilled by the applicants is given below:
- For UG Program: Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination Or must have studied Urdu as a subject/language or as a medium of instruction in 10th /12th/Graduation level or equivalent Madrasa courses approved by MANUU.
- For PG Program: A 3 year bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% mark (45% for SC/ST category) from a recognized university.
- Entrance Exam: MANUU conducts entrance test for selection of students applying for MBA and B.Ed program.
- Age Limit: There is no age Limit for any program at both UG/PG level.
- Medium: Urdu will be the main medium of instruction, except for the language courses.
MANUU Distance Education Registration Process
Admission to Maulana Azad National Urdu University for distance courses will be held online only. Students can access the admission portal at https://manuuadmission.samarth.edu.in/ and submit the form before the deadline. The following steps are to be followed for a successful submission of the admission form:
Step 1: Register yourself using your active email ID and phone number.
Step 2: Enter the OPT sent to register mail and number for verification.
Step 3: Login with the credential and fill in your personal details carefully.
Step 4: Create ABC ID and DEB ID.
Step 5: Select program and choose LSC from respective RCs/SRC.
Step 6: Now enter all the academic details correctly.
Step 7: After that, pay a registration fee of INR 300/- online.
Step 8: After verification, pay admission fee online as prescribed by the university.
Step 9: University will grant you provisional admission, after the payment of program fee.

MANUU Distance Education Fees Structure
MANUU-CDOE annual course fee ranges between INR 3,300/- to INR 14,900/- for reserved category and between INR 4,500/- to INR 21,500/- for other students. The total program fee will include the fee of assignments, term-end examination and project. Total annual fee has to be paid during the admission. MANUU Distance Education Assignment
Assignments are a very essential component as it carries 30% mark weightage for 6 to 4 credit courses and 15% for 2 credit courses. The assignment 1 will be an objective type with MCQS, matching two sets, filling in the blanks and true or false statements. Whereas assignment 3 will be descriptive or objective type. Assignment has to be submitted before the last date as given by the CDOE.
Assignment 1 must be completed online and assignment 2 and 3 shall be handwritten and submitted to the LSC. Students must retain the acknowledgment receipt from the coordinator.
