TNDALU Distance Education: Online registration will soon start in Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University for all the law courses for the current academic session 2026. Interested students can fill out the admission form for desired UG or PG courses and pay an application fee of INR 1000/- (500/- for reserved category). Programs offered by the university include a 5 year interest rate (h) degree law courses, LLB and LLM. There is no entrance exam for any courses so selection will be merit-based.
However, it is important to have basic eligibility criteria such as 10+2 qualification with at least 45% to 60% mark for UG program and for LLM, a bachelor degree with 45% mark in the qualifying examination. The annual course fee will range around INR 38,200/- to INR 87,635/- depending on the course. TNDALU Distance Education Admission 2026
TNDALU offers 5 years integrated (H) degree courses, 3 year LLB (H) and LLM (H) courses with diverse specializations. Students with the required eligibility criteria can apply to Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University for any law courses. Such as LLB. LLM, B.A.LL.B (Hons), BCA.LL.B.(Hons.), BBA.LL.B.(Hons.), and B.Com.LL.B.(Hons.). Students have to apply online only and submit separate application forms for School of Excellence in Law and Affiliated Law Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Payment of the processing fee has to be made online only as payment through Cash, Demand Draft, Money Order, Cheque or bank pay order or challan will not be accepted. TNDALU Distance Education UG Course Admission
At UG level, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University offers B.A.LL.B. (Hons), BBA.LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com.LL.B. (Hons), BCA.LL.B. (Hons) and LLB program. All the integrated degree courses are available for the course period of 5 years (10 semesters) and LLB course for 3 years (6 semesters). There is no age limit for any program nor entrance test.
So to get admission to integrated courses, an applicant must have completed their 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized educational board with a minimum 70% mark (60% for reserve category). For LLB course admission, students must hold a UG degree with at least 60% mark (55% for reserve category) in the qualifying examination. The annual course fee will be INR 87,635/- for integrated courses and INR 87,135/- for LLB courses per year.

TNDALU offers LLM degree courses with 13 specializations for the duration of 2 years with 4 semesters. PG degree courses are available under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with total intake limited to 20. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have a 3 or 5 year UG degree in any law courses from TNDALU or equivalent.

TNDALU Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
To get admission to any law degree courses at TNDALU will be selected purely on Merit basis on their performance in the qualifying examination. However, students are required to meet with the following eligibility criteria:
- For 5 Year Integrated (H) Degree Courses: Applicants have to pass their Higher Secondary Examination or must have completed a 3 Year Diploma /Polytechnic from a recognized university or institution. Students have to secure a minimum of 70% mark (60% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
- For 3 Year LLB (H) Degree Course: Applicants must have a UG degree course with not less than 60% mark (55% for SC/ST category) of the total marks in the aggregate.
- 2 Year LLM (H) Degree Course: Applicants must have completed a 3 year or 5 year integrated degree with a minimum 45% mark (40% mark for SC/ST category) in any law degree conducted by the university or equivalent.
