Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education: ANU CDE is accepting online applications for the current academic session 2026. Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education Admission 2026 

ANU Centre for Distance Education has already commenced the admission process for the current academic session 2026. The last date to submit the duly filled application form through anucde.info portal for any ODL program is 25 March 2026. Admissions rules and regulations as per the UGC and are subject to revision from time to time. Students will be provided with provisional admission until all the documents have been verified by the university. It will take a maximum of 2 months to confirm the admission at ANUCDE.

Students can apply to various programs like BA, MA, MSc, MBA, MCA, MCOM, BBA, etc at UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate level. All these programmes are recognised by the UGC-DEB and are offered in English and Telugu medium. Admission to UG and PG courses are merit based, except for MCA and MBA programs,where students have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university.

ANU Distance Education UG Admission 

Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education (ANUCDE) offers 13 undergraduate degree programs such as  BBA, BCOM, B.LiB.I.Sc and BA  with 9 specializations. All these courses are offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the duration of 3 years, divided into 6 semesters. The medium of instruction for UG courses will be in Telugu and English, except for the language courses.

To become eligible for admission, students have to complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board. There is no entrance examination required for UG courses, so selection will be solely merit-based. The annual fee will vary from INR 4880/- to INR 8175/-*, depending on the course. 

Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education PG Courses Admission 

ANUCDE has started accepting applications for postgraduate degree programs for the current academic cycle 2026. There are a total of 14 PG programs available in distance learning mode. Which include MSc (7 specializations), MCA, MCOM (Banking & Accountancy), MBA general (2 specializations), M.L.I.Sc and MA (11 disciplines). All these courses are approved by the UGC-DEB and are available in English & Telugu medium.

Postgraduate degree courses are available for the duration of 2 years with 4 semesters. To be eligible, students must have a bachelor’s degree in any related discipline with a minimum 50% mark(45% for reserved category) from a recognized university. However, for MCA and MBA programs, applicants need to appear and pass in the ANUCDE Entrance Test or AP ICET-2025. PG course fee is around INR 7800/- to INR 23000/- per year

ANU Distance Education Eligibility Criteria 

Students applying to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Centre for Distance Education (ANUCDE) must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • For Undergraduate program: Applicants must have completed their 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum 45% mark in the qualifying examination from a certified board. 
  • For Postgraduate program: A 3 year bachelor’s degree in any related field with minimum 50% mark (45% for SC/ST category) from any UGC approved university. 
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for UG/PG programs, though students may be required to be above the age of 17 or 18 years old. 
  • Language: English and Telugu will be mostly used for study material and instruction except for the language courses. 
  • Entrance Exam: Admissions are mostly merit based, except for MCA and MBA programs, where applicants need to qualify ANUCDE Entrance Test or AP ICET-2025. 

Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education Admission Process 

Acharya Nagarjuna University distance education is conducting an online registration process for all the ODL programs for the 2026 session. The process of submitting the ANUCDE application form for desired ODL program include the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website at https://anucde.info. 

Step 2: Click on the link- ‘Admission Application form’. 

Step 3: Press on the ‘apply now’ button. 

Step 4: Register with your email ID and phone number.

Step 5: Login and start filling the admission form online. 

Step 6: Scan and upload all the important documents and certificates in,mentioned size and format.

Step 7: Pay an application fee online via payment mode given by the university. 

Step 8: Submit the application form before the given deadline. 

Step 9: Download the acknowledgment slip and submit the hard copies of all the documents and the application form  to the ANUCDE office. 

Step 10: Admission will be confirmed after the verification of all the documents is completed. 

Documents Required for Admission

After students have uploaded the scan documents, it is mandatory to submit the original certificates to the ANUCDE office for verification purposes. Self-attest and soft copies of the original documents will not be accepted. The following list of documents are required for the verification purpose:

  • 10th Class Marks memo
  • 10+2 certificate
  • Adhaar card or pancard 
  • Recent colored passport-size photograph 
  • Caste certificate: for Reserved category
  • Birth Certificate Issued by Panchayat Office or competent authorities
  • UG Degree provisional certificate/ Original Degree (OD) certificate along with UG Marks Memos
  • For MBA/MCA program: Entrance Examination Marks/Rank Card or Service certificate

Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education Fee Structure

At the time of admission, students have to pay the 1st year admission fee. which will include Tuition Fee, Assignment Examination Fee, Theory Examination fee, Practical Examination fee and Project Fee for examination. Students have to pay a separate examination fee for writing Supplementary/Betterment examinations. ANUCDE yearly fees will range from INR 4880/- to INR 10175/-.
