Admission at Andhra University Distance Education will begin soon for the undergraduate (UG) courses. The university offers 10+ UG courses in the discipline of science, commerce and humanities. Courses like BA,B.Com and B.Sc with specialization offered at the Andhra University. The duration of these programs is 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters.
To pursue the UG courses, candidates need to pass Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations from a recognized board. It is also recommended to secure at least 45% aggregate marks at 10+2 level. There is no entrance test for these UG courses, students can take admission on the basis of their merit score. The average program fee of UG courses costs around INR 3,200 to INR 6,400 per year.

These PG courses take 2 years to complete which is divided into 4 semesters. To apply for PG courses, candidates usually need to hold a Bachelor;s degree in a relevant discipline from an approved university.
For the MBA and MCA programs it is mandatory to secure 50% aggregate marks in the graduation level while 5% or relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates. Applicants who have completed their graduation, can apply directly without clearing any entrance test. The university does not conduct or require any entrance exam.
Andhra University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
For UG Courses: To pursue the UG program, students have to complete their senior secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a certified board. For some specific programs, students need to have studied Mathematics as a major subject at 10+2 level. Entrance tests are usually not required for admission.
For PG Courses: Interested applicants who are going to take admission in PG courses, must hold a valid 3 years of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university. Entrance tests are also not required for the Master’s degree programmes. Eligible applicants can seek admission on the basis of their academic performance.
Eligibility for MBA: Candidates must have completed their 3 years Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from any approved university. Students are also required to secure at least 50% aggregate marks and 5% marks relaxation given to the reserved category applicants.
Eligibility for MCA: Applicants who have successfully passed out their BCA or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a valid university can apply for the admission. It is compulsory for all candidates to have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or graduation level. Along with the degree, students are also required to obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying examination.
