MDU Distance Admission 2026: Online application forms for ODL programs are available at Maharshi Dayanand University for the Academic Session 2026. Students can apply for 2 UG, 13 PG and 1 certificate courses. The application fee will range around INR 1000/-, depending on the student category. MDU Distance admission 2026 process has started now, and the students are required to apply before the last date of 25 April 2026. To get admission to UG programs, students are required to take a 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 33% to 45% mark in any discipline.

For a PG program, a bachelor degree in any related field recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent with minimum 45% to 50% marks is required. Admission will be merit based as there is no entrance exam for any program. About University: Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak was established in 1976, as a state university. It offers 196 programs, 10 faculties consisting of 42 University Teaching Departments/Centers/Institutes. MDU Distance Admission 2026 

Maharshi Dayanand University has commenced the admission process for intermediate students for the January 2026 academic session. MDU Distance admission last date is 25 April 2026. The University has started the admission process for courses like BA, BCom, MA, MCom, MLIS, and MSc programs. To pursue these UG and PG level courses, students need to have a 10+2 certification and a UG degree from a recognised institution. Admission is based on merit score for all courses. MDU Distance UG Admission 2026

CODE, Maharshi Dayanand University is accepting online applications for the UG program available for the duration of 3 years with 6 semesters. Currently, it offers only 2 UG courses: BA and BCOM in open and distance learning mode. Interested students can apply online by filling an application form, along with required documents. Admission to BA and BCOM programs is open to anyone who has passed 10+2 or any other examination in any discipline recognized by Maharshi Dayanand University as equivalent.

Applicants must have secured at least 33% for BA and 45% mark for BCOM program in the qualifying examination. Selection will be merit based as MDU does not hold entrance exams for any UG program. The annual program fee will range from INR 10,350/- to INR 11,100/- depending on the course. 

MDU Distance PG Admission 2026 

Online registration portal of MDU, the Centre for Distance and Online Education is open for admission to all the postgraduate degree courses for the 2026 session. Interested students can apply for ODL programs available at PG level, such as MCOM, MSc, MLIS, and MA with 8 disciplines. MDU offers these courses under semester scheme for the course period of 2 years, divided into 4 semesters.

To become eligible, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any related discipline with minimum 45%-50% marks (42.75% marks for reserved category) recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent thereto. Students have to pay a program fee ranging between INR 11,100/- to INR 12,500/- per year. Students will be given admission based on merit of their previous academic performance as MDU does not conduct any entrance exam. 

Eligibility criteria for MDU Distance Admission 

Students applying to MDU for any ODL program at both UG and PG level must ensure to meet with the following eligibility criteria to get admission: 

  • For Undergraduate Degree Program: Applicants must have 10+2 or equivalent qualifications with a minimum 33% to 45% mark in any discipline from a recognised board. Also, for a BA program, anyone with a Diploma in Pharmacy Course, or 3 year Professional Diploma Programs can also apply. 
  • For Postgraduate Degree Program: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks (42.75% marks for SC/ST/ Blind/Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) is mandatory. Except for MSc mathematics, a minimum of 50% mark is compulsory. 
  • Age Limit: There is no maximum age restriction for any UG/PG program. 

MDU Distance Admission Process 2026

Before initiating the registration process, students are advised to read the Prospectus, Eligibility Requirements, Instructions and Regulations carefully. Also, it is mandatory to create an ABC ID/DEB ID and Digi-Locker account for all the new applicants. Submission of the application form will undergo the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the MDU official registration portal.  

Step 2: Register with your valid E-mail id and Mobile number. 

Step 3: Login with the credential and fill the admission form. 

Step 4: Scan and upload all the necessary documents, along with photographs and signatures. 

Step 5: Select the desired program and fill the course details carefully. 

Step 6: Review all the information and proceed for fee payment.

Step 7: Pay application fee of INR 1000/- via payment mode given by the university. 

Step 8: Students can check the fee confirmation and admission form status on the students login page. 

Documents Required for Admission

Applicants have to scan all the original documents and upload them during the online registration process in JPEG/PDF Format only with size within 10 KB to 500 KB. The list of documents required are:

MDU Distance Fee 2026

Maharshi Dayanand University, CDOE charges annual course fees ranging from INR 10,350/- to INR 12,500/- for all the ODL programs. Apart from the tuition fee, students also have to pay SLM Fees, Student Support Services Fee,Alumni Member-Ship Fee and other charges. MDU Distance Education Self-Learning Material 

The centre of distance and online education of Maharshi Dayanand University will offer enrolled students with self-learning study material. It will be available in both soft and hard copy format as per students preference. SLM will be provided to the applicants in Hindi and English medium. Students will have to pay a self-learning material fee ranging between INR 1500/- to INR 2500/-. Study material of all the UG and PG programmes will be available on the CDOE website of Maharshi Dayanand University.
