Madurai Kamaraj University Distance Education UG Admission
MKU Distance Education is now accepting applications for all undergraduate (UG) programmes. Interested applicants must apply through the online portal of the university. The university provides admission in courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA etc. The minimum duration of all UG courses is 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters. The medium of instruction of all these courses is Tamil or English. PG Courses Admission at Madurai Kamaraj University Distance Education
Madurai Kamaraj University Distance Education admission process for the postgraduate (PG) courses is still ongoing. The university accepts applications for MA,MCA,MBA,M.Com and M.Sc courses in ODL mode. Candidates with a valid 3 years of graduation degree can apply for these Master’s degree programmes at MKU. There is no specific eligibility requirement for admission but obtaining a minimum of 50% marks are generally considered. Entrance exams are also not conducted or required for admission, candidates can take admission on the basis of their previous merit grade.
MKU Distance Education Courses Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for UG Courses: To pursue Bachelor’s degree programmes from MKU CDOE, students need to have completed their senior secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board. Students are also advised to secure at least 45% to 50% aggregate marks at the 10+2 level. For the BCA program, candidates must have studied Mathematics, with Physics/ Commerce/Economics in the 10 +2.
Eligibility for PG Courses: Applicants who are going to apply for PG programmes, are required to hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university along with 50% marks. Those who want to pursue an MCA program, must hold a BCA or any relevant degree in Mathematics.
For PG Diploma Courses: Candidates who are going to pursue any PG diploma program from the university, need to hold a relevant graduate degree or equivalent degree from an authorized university. However there is no other eligibility criteria required for admission into the PG Diploma courses.
