About Kurukshetra University Distance Education 

Centre for Distance and Online Education of Kurukshetra University was established in 1976. The university is located in Haryana. It has approval from the University Grants Commission and the Distance Education Bureau (DEB). Kurukshetra University, CDOE has started their admission process and is now going to close the admission window very soon. Learners who wish to continue their higher studies from KUK distance education, are required to apply online before 10th April 2026. KUK Distance Education UG Admission 2026 

Undergraduate (UG) courses admission has begun at Kurukshetra University Distance Education. At present, the university provides admission in courses like B.A,B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, B.LISc and B.Ed through open and distance learning mode. If you are going to take admission in any of these courses then you have to complete your senior secondary education (10+2) from a certified board as a basic requirement. Those who take admission in the B.Ed program, are required to hold a valid Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. The entire selection process of this university is based on your merit grade without any entrance test but for the B.Ed program, the university requires in-service teachers. 

PG Courses Admission at KUK Distance Education 

Kurukshetra University, CDOE has started the registration process for its Master’s degree programmes. Candidates can apply for admission through the university’s official page. The university offers PG courses in various disciplines like M.A, MBA, M.Sc, MCom, and more. The minimum duration of these master’s degree programmes is 2 years, which can be pursued in ODL mode.

The fee range of PG courses usually starts from INR 7,500 to INR 30,000  per year. To apply for admission at Kurukshetra University Distance Education, students need to visit their online portal and have to complete the procedure. Before going through the online procedure, make sure you have created your ABC ID from the DigiLocker application. The ABC ID is mandatory for registration.
