DDE of Bangalore University is inviting eligible students for admission to various distance courses for the 2026 academic year. Interested students can fill up the admission, along with necessary documents and submit it to the DDE office in Bangalore University. Bangalore University Distance Education UG Admission 

Admission has already commenced for undergraduate degree courses at Bangalore University for distance learning courses for the academic session 2026. Bangalore university distance education offers only BCOM program at UG level. It is a 3 year course, divided into 6 semesters. Students applying to this course must have 10+2 qualifications in any stream from  a recognized board.

Bangalore university distance education does not conduct any entrance exam so selection of the applicants is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. The program fee for BCOM program is INR 15,500/- per year. Students must have proficiency in English and kannada as all the study material and instruction will be delivered in either medium.

Bangalore University Distance Education PG Courses Admission 

Bangalore University is inviting eligible students to apply for the PG degree courses like MCOM, MSc in Mathematics, and MA in Hindi, History, Economics, English, Political Science, and Sociology. These courses are offered for the duration of 2 years with 4 semesters. Students can avail UGC-DEB approved master degree courses in distance learning mode.

To qualify for admission, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least minimum 50% mark. There is no upper age limit nor entrance exam for PG  programs. Students have to pay a program fee ranging from INR 17,800/- to INR 42,800/- per year. The main medium of instruction will be English and Kanada

Eligibility Criteria of Bangalore University Distance Education 

Students applying for distance learning programs at Bangalore University-DDE must meet with the following eligibility criteria to get admission: 

  • For UG Degree Program: Applicants must be 10+2 passed in either Arts, Commerce, or Science conducted by Karnataka state board or equivalent. 
  • For PG Degree Program: Pass a bachelor’s degree examination or equivalent with aggregate 40% in all the optional courses and 50% in relevant subjects from aUGC approved university.

Step 2: Click on the ‘apply now’ button.

Step 3: Register with your email ID and phone number.

Step 4: Create username and password.
