About Shivaji University Distance Education
Shivaji University was established in 1962. It is recognised by the UGC/AICTE and is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. It started a centre for distance education in 2005 and started functioning in 2007. Currently it is known as the centre of distance and online education (CDOE) and offers 2 undergraduate, 10 postgraduate and 1 PG diploma program. Shivaji University Distance Education UG Course Admission
The CDOE of Shivaji University provides admission to only 2 UG degree courses for the academic session 2026. It includes Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) in open and distance learning (ODL) mode. It offers 12 disciplines under the BA program, which include Marathi, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Economics, History, Sociology, Education, Political Science, Philosophy and Ardhamagadhi.
