Shivaji University was established in 1962. It is recognised by the UGC/AICTE and is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. It started a centre for distance education in 2005 and started functioning in 2007. Currently it is known as the centre of distance and online education (CDOE) and offers 2 undergraduate, 10 postgraduate and 1 PG diploma program. Shivaji University Distance Education UG Course Admission
The CDOE of Shivaji University provides admission to only 2 UG degree courses for the academic session 2026. It includes Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) in open and distance learning (ODL) mode.
